Embracing Unity and Spirit: A Transformative Training with Timothy Jorgensen
We recently had the extraordinary privilege of hosting a two-day intensive training session with Timothy Jorgensen, the esteemed author of Spirit Life Training. This transformative event was orchestrated by our beloved Prophetess, Taryn N Tarver Bishop, who has always shown deep care and dedication to our ministry stewards and the people who serve here. Her vision of unity and spiritual growth came to life as we all gathered to learn about living a life in the Spirit and becoming one body in Christ.
The first day began with a powerful session of worship and praise. The atmosphere was charged with divine energy as voices rose in unison, creating a harmonious and spiritually uplifting environment. This was more than just a prelude to the training; it was a declaration of our collective faith and a reminder of the unity we strive to achieve.

This was more than just a prelude to the training; it was a declaration of our collective faith and a reminder of the unity we strive to achieve.
Following the worship, our Prophetess spoke passionately about our church as the House of Liberty, where we live LIFE in SPIRIT at Life Church: PREACH. PRAY. PROPHESY. HEAL. DELIVER. Her teachings were profound and deeply resonated with everyone present. She emphasized the importance of unity within the body of Christ, highlighting how each one of us plays a crucial role in the ministry. Her insights into spiritual growth and the power of collective faith set the tone for the entire training session. The words she shared were not just teachings but a heartfelt message of love and commitment to our spiritual journey
During his two-day sessions, Timothy Jorgensen extensively covered key topics from his book, *Spirit Life Training*. As the author, his insights were invaluable. Delving into practical aspects of living a life in the Spirit, he offered guidance on how to incorporate spiritual principles into our daily lives. His teachings, spread over both days, were both inspiring and actionable, equipping everyone with tools to enhance their spiritual journey.
Jorgensen highlighted 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24, which gives us the divine order for the restoration of humankind. To apply this divine order and restore God’s Kingdom design for our being, we must place the Spirit as king, the soul as the servant, and the body as a slave. SPIRIT > SOUL > BODY.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24: "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it."
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24: "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it."
Body: The body is our earthly suit, a slave that has no personal will but fulfills the desires of the spirit, our inner king, our inner man, our Spirit. It needs to be trained and disciplined to serve the spirit. God loves our bodies (1 Corinthians 3:17) and wants them to be strong. Your body is a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1), and God desires its restoration. You must make your body obey, and God will give you the Holy Spirit's power to do so. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and you must take care of it.
Romans 12:1: "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."
Soul: The soul is the servant. It gives information and makes sure that the king has all the king which is the Spirit has resources needed, and is an ambassador and a steward of supplies to other parts of the kingdom. The soul is the last battleground and contains your mind, will, and emotions. By disciplining both your soul and body, you prevent the enemy from finding an entrance into your life. Even Jesus trained his soul, and we can do the same by aligning our souls with the word of God (Romans 12:2). Your mind needs to be renewed, not just learned. Within you is a new creation, and your spirit bears witness to this transformation.
Romans 12:2: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will."
Spirit: The spirit is the king, holding complete authority to rule, direct, give commands, and have ownership over all the resources of the kingdom. When you master controlling your mind and emotions, your spirit becomes the king of your body and soul. You are no longer ruled by memory, emotions, and the past. Jesus, the King of Peace, gives you peace.
John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."
Galatians 5:16-17: "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other so you are not able to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law."
WORD + SPIRIT = LIFE
LIFE + WORD = Manifestation of the things of God
Jorgensen also spoke about the power of words, emphasizing that words are rooted deep within us. You can strengthen your memory and spirit by speaking the word. His teachings from Spirit Life Training provided deep insights and actionable steps for spiritual growth.

The evening sessions on both days were nothing short of miraculous. Our Prophetess and Timothy Jorgensen led powerful prayer sessions and ministered to the stewards, focusing on healing, deliverance, and miracles. The room was filled with an overwhelming sense of the God's presence. Testimonies of healing and deliverance began to emerge, and many experienced profound personal transformations. These sessions were a testament to the power of faith and the miraculous potential within the body of Christ when we come together in unity and purpose.
Our hearts are filled with gratitude for our Prophetess, whose vision and dedication made this training possible. We are equally thankful to Timothy Jorgensen for sharing his wisdom and guiding us through this transformative experience. Together, we have taken significant steps towards living a life in the Spirit, united in faith and purpose.
Let's carry forward the lessons we've learned, nurturing our spiritual growth and fostering unity within our community.
